At The Coffee Can, there’s nothing we enjoy more than rolling up in our beloved vans – Candice and Duncan – to add a special caffeine-fuelled twist to your corporate events. A temporary home at an event space always leaves a stamp on our memories of the year and let us tell you we’ve seen a whole range of temporary homes. From the opening events of new housing developments, the car park of law firms, film sets all the way through to a three-week stay in Barcelona, you’d be surprised as to how vast the world of ‘corporate event days’ truly is, but they always make fantastic days for teams and businesses.
The Heart & Soul Behind Our Vans
Our journey began when we launched “Candice” in January 2020 – right at the end of lockdown – as a small beacon of delight for walkers and locals when we were embracing the great outdoors more than ever. Candice quickly became a familiar sign of comforting caffeine on wheels, serving up fresh coffee and homemade Hello Bakehouse goodies from our fellow Farnham small business. Her success inspired us to introduce “Duncan” to serve even more communities – and business gatherings too!

From networking breakfasts and workshops to office open days and team-building socials, we’ve found corporate events are where we do best: bring people together over quality coffee and good vibes. It’s a match made in caffeine heaven. With Amy, Cathy and the team behind the coffee machine, you’ll quickly see that we also love a chat. Honestly, it helps really bring people out of their shells at corporate events, and gets conversation flowing all throughout the day.
One recent highlight (thanks British weather!) was a cycling event which we attend annually which is hosted by a local law firm. The energy was high, the lycra was out – and then the heavens opened. The rain didn’t let up for most of the day. That didn’t dampen spirits, it ended up being quite the opposite! We were busier than any previous year keeping riders and spectators warm with hot coffees and comforting treats. We’re gonna say it… we were actually busier than the pop-up bar. We’ve noticed a real shift towards clients enjoying caffeine over alcohol at day-time events recently, so rain or shine, we’ve got your event covered – quite literally with our gazebo to hand.
