Coffee anywhere, any time. The Coffee Can can officially go OFF-GRID.
Over the last few years, we’ve fostered a wonderful working relationship with Ford. After all, our O.G. coffee van Candice is a Ford (as a result of Coffee Can Mum Cathy’s insistence to Amy that they were the most reliable option to get coffee out on the road). We’ve unintentionally fallen into serving our infamous coffees at a multitude of motor events, from our classic Brooklands Motor Museum regular pitch through to classic car shows and events with Ford themselves.
It was through this industry overlap that the idea of working with Ford to create an off-grid, self-contained version of The Coffee Can came about.
Introducing our brand-new Coffee Truck, the latest version of The Coffee Can which is entirely off-grid thanks to a very technical internal generator system (which goes far beyond our scope of knowledge, but ask Coffee Can’s Ben all about it and he’ll talk for days on how it works!).
In our famous shade of Coffee Can blue (obviously), our coffee truck is perfect for reaching those slightly out-of-the-way events where electrical hook-ups aren’t an option. From camp sites through to cycling routes, we’ve already taken our truck further afield than Candice has ever travelled.
What was most important to us in being able to offer an off-grid option was keeping noise pollution to an absolute minimum. We’ve often found that coffee vans which are self-contained often come attached to an incredibly noisy generator and to be honest, we just aren’t a fan of the noise or smell that comes with these. We can assure you that the Ford Ranger set-up is noise free, and the only smell that comes with it is the smell of a freshly brewed espresso.
