We are absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of our sister company, The Blue Bar Company!
From the moment we laid eyes on our little blue Tuk Tuk, we were obsessed. Cue a few messages sent on group chats to get second-opinions as to whether this move was genius or insanity, one trip to Bath to collect the van, and a few frantic weeks learning how to tile and store kegs of beer correctly – Tukan the Tuk Tuk Bar was born!
Obviously, nothing seems to be done in Amy’s world without questioning whether this is ‘too much on her plate’ – she only went and bought the Tuk Tuk with just several weeks to go until her sister’s big day (which she planned to launch the Tuk Tuk at). So, as per usual, we were faced with some last-minute hurdles, design issues, unreliable suppliers and a few equipment hiccups.
However, with a little determination, quite a few late nights, and support from our neighbours at Farnham Brewing, the sun set on a beautiful wedding in Frensham, complete with sparkling Aperol and perfectly chilled lager on tap. What a success!
Since then, Tukan the bar has also made an appearance at the wedding of O&A, who used the backdrop of the farmlands of Secrett’s Milford to celebrate whilst sipping on margaritas, lager and Aperol.
