Pumpkin week returns to Secrett’s Farm Shop

When we first moved into Secrett’s Farm Shop in the summer of 2023, we were introduced to the huge assortment of family events they host throughout the year. From Strawberry to Sweetcorn pick-your-own weekends, Christmas shopping nights to summer evening festivals, they have it all. But in all honesty, none of them quite stand out to the October Half Term event which sweeps witches brooms through the farm – Pumpkin Week.

It’s hailed as an annual tradition in the Milford / Godalming area. A week dedicated to family fun come rain or shine (and let’s be honest, it’s more than likely to entail its fair share of mud), with all the Halloween fun your half-term needs. 2024 sees Secrett’s Pumpkin Week reach its 15th year, and with the event getting bigger and bigger every year it’s gone on, you can just begin to imagine how much is in store to mark the occasion!

Mark your calendars for the 19th – 30th October because Pumpkin Week is back.

Booking essential, see here for details.

Start the adventure with us

Whilst we aren’t quite in the pumpkin fields ourselves (except of course when we take to pumpkin picking for ourselves during our breaks), we are just a stroll from the car park and right next to the Farm Shop itself in Eliza’s tea rooms. Hot Chocolates and gingerbread pumpkins for the little ones, with ample caffeine on tap for parents needing as much energy as they can get to push those wheelbarrows into the pumpkin fields.

It might come as a bit unsurprising to those who know us, but we really do love to go all-in when it comes to dressing up and jumping on the decoration wagon. Last year we introduced some seasonal specials to the menu including a Spooky Chocolate and Strawberry milkshake, and of course the icon that is the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Would it be a pumpkin picking week without one?

We’ll be lining up the weekly specials alongside our usual coffee shop menu too. For those who haven’t visited our Secrett’s Farm Shop branch before, we have a fantastic kitchen team who serve up a breakfast menu till midday, and lunch menu which begins from then. Think breakfast classics like bacon and sausage rolls using produce from our neighbours Black Barn Butchers, avocado on toast, and eggs and soldiers. Into lunch, expect seasonal toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes and quiches. In our eyes, it’s the perfect pumpkin picking fuel.
